Chris & Rahnella Adsit have been working full-time with service members, first responders and their families since 2005. Their focus has been to combine best practices from the medical and mental health communities with the timeless principles from the Bible, facilitating healing from duty-related stress and trauma. Their books include The Combat Trauma Healing Manual for combat veterans, When War Comes Home for their wives, The First Responder Healing Manuel and newly released 13 week, peer-led course curriculum called Firstline for first responders and their families. They’ve led training conferences around the US, and the world, including hot spots such as Iraq, Ukraine, and Central Africa, and their books have been translated into several different languages.
This year’s conference theme: MOBILIZING ASSETS FOR HEALING
If you are the Pentagon, you spend billions of dollars every year to make sure your troops have the best equipment available. If you run a law enforcement, fire, or EMS department, a huge portion of your time and attention goes into procuring vehicles and gear that will give your first responders every advantage in a crisis situation.
But what good does it do to take delivery on these spankin’ new, state-of-the-art assets if they’re kept in a warehouse somewhere? If those who need them never deploy them – or even know about them?
During this conference, we’re going to be identifying, mapping, and learning how to mobilize the assets that God has made available for you and your family’s healing from the stress and trauma associated with your line of work. For you to gain any benefit from these assets, you not only need to have them, you need to be intentional about understanding them, and using them. Join us, and together we’ll ramp up your ability to experience God’s healing physically, psychologically, relationally and spiritually.
